The Trinity on the Black Sea

We thought you might be interested in the report below that Dinko (Jim’s Bulgarian translator, and director of Care For All Ministries there) sent to his supporters. We are so blessed to be a part of this ministry … and by that we mean all of you as well, since without your support and prayers this could not happen. Here is Dinko’s report–
A Week on The Trinity With Dr. James Sawyer
For over 18 years Care For All Ministries along with the rest of the humanitarian, social, church and evangelism operations has earnestly worked toward offering quality education to students, church ministers and laity. One of our longest term partners in that area of ministry has been Dr. M. James Sawyer. Professor Sawyer has traveled and done courses, seminars and classes with an exceptional and contagious love for God and His people.
Much can be talked about the professional qualifications of Dr. Sawyer who has written so many incredible theological books and has been a prominent leader in the area of Christian thought and doctrinal formation. But I find it quite difficult to decide which I admire more – whether the depth of his Biblical understanding and the way he has influenced and enhanced fundamentally and profoundly the doctrinal worldview of so many here in Bulgaria (and around the world) bombarding irrational and non-biblical conceptions, beliefs and exercise, and drawing us back to the reality and the true meaning of Scriptures – or his amazing humility and servant-hood attitude behind it.
This is why it was a joy and a privilege to have him once again in April 2015. This time a group of 20 college level students awaited us in the beautiful Black Sea resort city of Nessebar. That week the classroom time passed so fast. Although I have had the privilege of reading Jim’s book on the Trinity and translating this course for him several times, I was once again totally transformed by the in-depth revelations, the long and passionate discussions with the students and the presence of the Holy Spirit in the room. Even after Dr. Sawyer’s departure, most of the students continue to communicate with me wanting to express their gratitude and thankfulness for this absolutely incredible class and to share how it has expanded their world of understanding and how it has influenced their personal relationship with God and service to others.
On behalf of this group of sweet folks in Nessebar and all who have been touched and inspired by Dr. Sawyer in Bulgaria – THANK YOU brother Jim! We love you and want you to know how grateful we are for your love, sacrifices and passion for the Kingdom.
